Outspan Inn

Outside Outspan INNOutspan Inn is situated in Port St Johns, on the beautiful Wild Coast at the mouth of the Umzimvubu River. A short walk across the lawns takes you straight down to First (our!) Beach. It’s not a swimming beach, but is great for sundowners, walks, and building sandcastles.All our rooms are sea facing, but because we are environmentally aware & bird friendly, the swathe of coastal bush between the lawns and the beach is left intact for the birds (120 species recorded at Outspan Inn). The B&B rooms are all en suite, some with DSTV. The self catering units are fully equipped. The swimming pool is fenced & the gardens are child friendly. Pets are welcome as long as they are well behaved.Lunch and dinner can be had at the independently owned restaurant & pub on the premises.

The Spotted Grunter Resort

Spotted GrunterAll the luxury log cabins are fully equipped with microwaves, gas stoves, fridges and TV’s.  All utensils, pots and pans, dish clothes, dishwashing liquid, bath soaps, shampoo’s and hand lotion are provided. There are two sleepers and six sleeper log cabins. We pride ourselves on the friendliness of the staff and the little extra’s that you will make you feel at home the minute you arrive. All cabins have a braai area that is cleaned daily.  We are the Seafood Meca of Port St Johns.  Our full a la carte restaurant offers irresistible dishes from seafood to steaks to pizza’s and much, much more.  The ladies bar offers good music, exciting sporting events and fun filled evenings with the friendly bartender.  Pool and darts are also offered to enjoy the evening.

Entrance At the Sunlof B&BSunlof  is situated overlooking the Port St Johns Golf  Course, The mouth of the Umzimvubu River and Indian Ocean, the Mount Thesiger and Mount Sullivan Mountains to the North, East and West, While at the rear or South side we have the Forest and a Highly protected Wetland. The estalishment has 12 Bedrooms recommended for their Cleanliness.

Lilly Lodge

Beatiful Seaview from the Lilly LodgeThe Lily Lodge, set in the dune forest at Second Beach, Port St Johns, is an idyllic venue for enjoying the Transkei Wild Coast. From our restaurant, you can see the Indian Ocean and the beach is 98 steps down the dunes. You can laze on the beach, walk for hours in the forests and along the cliffs, or fish from the rocks nearby. Other activities available are canoeing, horse trails, visits to rural villages and deep sea fishing. We have twenty-eight rooms, including five family rooms, all self contained with showers. Each family room contains a double and two single beds. All rooms are air-conditioned, with multi-channel TV. Prices: Out of season, our rates are R 450.00 per person, dinner, bed and breakfast. Children under 5 years stay free. Children 5 - 12 years pay half adult rate

Conference & Wedding Facilities:

Our facilities include two function rooms, one with a sun-deck, overlooking the beach. The main function room can accommodate 200 people and the second, 40. There are overhead and data projectors and flipcharts available for presentations. The chapel makes it possible to hold a full wedding ceremony at the Lodge.
